I know that they closed either the Time Keeper or the Carousel of Progress, but I can't remember which one. I believe it was the Time Keeper, correct? Also, I know they're both listed as seasonal in several books, will they be open in Dec?

Timekeeper is permanently closed and is in the process of becoming a new attraction based on Monsters, Inc. - Laugh Floor Comedy Club, which is scheduled to open in early 2007. Apparently, some folks on the DIS have actually be in the new attraction for a performance, but the attraction isn't finished yet. Apparently Disney just wanted feedback on the work so far.

I've heard Carousel of Progress will be open in December. Has anyone else heard otherwise?

It was open a few days ago - and was just as fun as ever.

I think I remember the Timekeeper from my 1998 or 1999 trip. Did Robin Williams have something to do with that attraction, if so, that is what I remember.

I know I either saw that or the CoP, but couldn't remember which one I'd been on, or which one had closed.

I do think Robin William's voice was part of the Timekeeper attraction. The last time I saw it was in the mid-80s though.

I sure hope the COP is open in December. It usually isn't for our December trips. We've only seen in when we visited in March, June, and November.

I am having a memory lapse...which ride was Timekeeper?

Timekeeper was one of the incarnations of Circlevision 360 where you watched various film shown on screens that surrounded you. It ran from 1994 to Feb. 2006 and indeed had Robin Williams as the voice of Timekeeper.
(And Rea Pearlman as the voice of Nine Eye, his robot dupe.) The main plot device was picking up Jules Vern at the 1900 Paris World's Fair and showing him the modern world. (With plenty of side trips along the way.) Mousetimes (mousetimes.com) has an excellent video of the attraction.

OK...I remember it now...thank you for refreshing my memory! :)

Carousel of Progress is listed as seasonal, but it apparently actually is open year-round.

Good, I was hoping the one I hadn't seen yet was the one that was still open.
