Cleaning supplies?

I am checking in this Sunday at HH and was wondering, should I bring along some fantastic or a swiffer, etc.? I am staying for 5 nights so will get a TT service on the 4th day but I was wondering about the general upkeep of the place. This is my 1st DVC trip. Thanks.

Oh, also, do they have any grill utensils at the resort?

I have no specific experience with HH, but the other DVC resorts are always well stocked with supplies. The only thing I usually bring extra of is laundry detergent, and that is because I have sensetive skin and like to use what I know. If something is in short supply in your unit, just call Housekeeping, and they will bring it right away. This goes for kitchen utensils etc. too.

Thanks Diane, but are things like Fantastic or Windex available through the resort? What do you normally use to clean up? Also when you say kitchen utensils, does that include things specific to use on the grill? Just wondering if I should bring these things from home.

WE have always had plenty of kitchen utensils and spatulas etc are included. No windex, but I never saw the need for it. All that is done before you check in, and we have never had a cleanliness problem at OKW at least.

There is a sponge for cleanup (dishes, countertops, etc.) and dishwashing liquid. That's usually all we need, although, I supposd throwing in some of those disposable cloths with Fantastik (or something like that) on it wouldn't be a bad idea!

I bought a very inexpensive set of BBQ tools that I keep with all our HH stuff. It can get a little "warm" trying to flip burgers with the short-handled kitchen spatula!
