cleaning sort of question

Now this may sound like a crazy question. I hate to clean. Well I am not sure many of us really enjoy it. I do what I need to keep my house in order, but I dont look forward to it.

Yet.. I volunteer 2 mornings a week at an animal shelter and I LOVE IT... I mean I spend most of my time cleaning cat cages, from changing liter boxes to wiping down their living area...I dont mind one bit.. I mean I actually look forward to going to the shelter knowing that is what mainly my job is..I also fold a lot of laundry at the shelter as well, from towels, to blankets etc...

For some reason cleanng at the shelter is rewarding to me..yet cleaning at home not so much...maybe its that I think the animals appreciate me more

Maybe you're doing it because you WANT to as opposed to HAVE to?
Also knowing how helpless animals are and how much they depend on humans would make me glad to go to work doing what you do.

I have horses.....I don't mind cleaning stalls...in fact, I actually like it...but I freaking hate cleaning my house..
