Cleaning out the basement.......Do these Beanie Babies have any value?

My kids collected these when they were hot and now they are just packed away. They have the tags and covers still on them. Did any of these retain any value? I know the two they had in cases are the bear from Britain and the Platypus from the first year.

Just wondering before I donate them.

I dunno about value, we have a ton too, sitting in the bags and tagged. Maybe stick them on EBAY? Can't hurt.... Look there first, that will maybe give you an idea.

I do not think that they have any value now. I told me teen to hang on to hers for about 20 years and they would be "in-style" again. She can sell them then for a fortune and buy a new house or something!

I would check e-bay too. Some are really not worth to much money but Im sure there are still some that you could get some decent money for.

We have beanie babies up the ying yang, and I figure someday when DD is old and gray, they might actually be worth something and she can use them to finance her dentures.
