Cleaning Cabinets Question

When we purchased the house, the old owners used a polyurethane finish on the kitchen cupboards which I absolutely dislike. I am having an extremely hard time getting them cleaned properly. No matter what I try, it seems like they still seem dirty and you can see finger prints, etc. Does anyone know what I can use on them that won't dull out the finish but yet clean them?

Have you tried a damp microfiber cloth? We bought a mirofiber mop and DH took it to our staircase, which had quite a bit of grime, paint overspray and even sheetrock mud on it from renovations. It came clean beautifully, with very little effort.
