I have a Coach purse that needs cleaned. I have used it for several years & I love it. Hate to ruin it with water spots. It is a fabric-type & is black/gray with the "c" insignia all over it.

What does everyone use to clean their Coach purses?

I've always used water with a drop of dish soap. Use a damp sponge and try not to over saturate, air dry. Told my sister in law to try this the other day when she broke up a dog fight and got blood on her new coach signature bag and she said it all came out.

If you have a coach store near you they sell cleaner for both the leather and a Jacquard Fabric cleaner (which is what most coach bags are made of). I think it retails for about $10 that was the last price I saw it at when I was at the outlet mall last weekend near my house.

i use the coach special cleaner on my light grey bag... but it only works so well, i will have to try the dry cleaner! i love the coach fabric bags and have several that could use a good cleaning....

Take it in to the coach store. They will clean it for you. I know this because my son works at a coach store.

This is definitely the way to go! I bring my purses in when they need cleaning and have hardly ever been turned away when I ask them to do it for me, because I don't want to ruin the purse. They do an amazing job, too. I've never been charged for this service, but have had some salespeople not know they clean their purses for customers and look at me like I'm crazy before turning me away.

This!! ^^^^^

Some people think I'm nuts for my Coach collection but my purses have withstood the most extreme conditions imaginable thanks to my kiddos. The few times I've needed them cleaned the store has taken care of it and the one time a thread came loose on a cross body the store sent it away to be fixed. No questions asked. I absolutely love the company, products, and their service.

After googling it, I found that they recommended plain bar soap, like dial.

So, I used dial bar soap and water, and my signature bag came out gorgeous. I've got to swing by the store and get leather cleaner though, because the pink leather could use some love.

I just took a Coach purse and wallet to the cleaners... looks brandy new!!!! My Coach Store did not clean it for me....

I have a pastel patchwork that I love and it was looking gungy - I took the handle off and put it right in the washing machine with tons of soap and some special stain remover add in stuff - let it air dry - good as new. I knew I was taking a chance, but it worked beautifully!

Wow, none of my Coach stores will clean my bags. Maybe because that's all they'd be doing all day long if they did?

I do use the Coach leather cleaner and it works really well on our couch, too.

The fabric one go to the cleaners.

Wow, that stinks! It could vary by area/store, I guess? I'm glad the location near me is able to do it for me, they've been a lifesaver a couple of times now.

I work in a Coach retail store and we do not clean bags. I have had great luck washing a jacquard bag in my front load washer on gentle (bag placed inside a pillow case). I would never suggest this in the store however!

I washed mine just last night. I did Oxyclean Dish soap on a soft sponge with water and just scrubbed gently. Then I rinsed the sponge and went over it with just water. It looks great today after drying out!
