Cleanin' out my closet.....

.... if Eminem can do it- so can I! I have PURGED my linen closet. Yep that's right I'm getting rid of things. I faced the fact that I use ONE set of sheets on my bed. I take them off, I wash them, and I put them back on. I like them. They feel "right" when I get in bed. I don't need the other SEVEN sets I had in my linen closet. I am keeping 2- in case someone is sick in the night or something. The same thing with the towels, I tend to reach for the same type every time. I'm keeping the ones I use and the others (for the most part) are going "bye bye". Getting rid of a few comforters too.

I'm having a yard sale the last weekend in June- wanna come??

Congratulations on your spring cleaning. I've been trying to do this as well. A few suggestions for those sheets, towels and comforters instead of just throwing them out.

- If they're in good condition see if a women's or men's shelter would like them. I bet they would be put to good use.

- If they're not in that good condition see if the local pound would like them. They're always looking for old bedding to make the animals more comfortable.
