Clean Resort for 1 night

Not saving very much for Hyatt. We use Pop for 1 night late arrivals. I get up early and taxi with my luggage to new resort and do early check in.

Since POP is booked, I went with CSR. The rate was really good and we have never stayed there. I am requesting an updated room and hopefully we'll get it. We will uber on over to the GF first thing in the morning. It saves us $300 and I do think that it's worth it. Thanks everyone!

Wait, I'm confused. CSR is only $300 less than the GF concierge room? From what I've priced, GF concierge rooms are like $1K a night? You must have gotten a good deal.

I'd have chosen any value resort, as you can get up and out super early, and check into GF at like 6am (been there done that), and have access to the lounge for your breakfast (and mimosas if you so desire, LOL). I don't think it's worth paying any more for CSR than any all stars, if you're just using the beds for sleeping.

We did get an excellent rate with the friend and family discount but it's still not cheap. The Allstar base rate is 117 and CSR base is 173 so honestly not much different and I'm hoping for an updated room.

Holy cow you did get a great rate. So you got GF club for less than $500/night? That is a good discount (but honestly after my last experience I won't do Disney resorts again, but that's just me).

I've always wanted to fly in late and stay at the MCO Hyatt! I don't know why, I just think it would be neat to be in the airport almost empty, wake up in the hotel and walk right downstairs to the Magical Express and start the trip. :)

But...I always seem to book the first flight out in the morning, can't help myself!

This was my thought, at first, too, but then $260+ for the Hyatt vs. $120 (all stars) to $150 (Pop) for a value.

We stayed at a Hampton Inn very close to the airport. Getting in so late we wanted a good nights sleep before our first Park day and knowing ME can take some time we opted to stay there. We used points but it was otherwise under $100 and includes free breakfast. The rooms were immaculate.

Since you're flying, you could consider spending the night at the airport Hyatt. It's inside MCO. For Magical Express you just give Disney a flight that will be arriving at approximately the time you think you will want to head over to the GF. Only (very small) disadvantage is that you'd have to transport your bags yourself.

That would be my suggestion. So easy and convenient if you're coming in late to just walk a few minutes and you're in bed rather than waiting for a bus, drive to the resort, check in and then do over again the next day.

I've been at the MCO Hyatt for ~$180. Yes, it can be much more than that, but it really depends on the time of year.

I would choose csr then too! That’s so cheap! Is it through a ta?

We did get it for under $500 a night before taxes. Amazing rate! Going at the end of August and using the friends and family discount.

I also would stay at the MCO Hyatt if I were in your situation.
The convenience and the having a bed right there once you land is the way to go.

Honestly, that is the BEST option. May cost a few dollars more, but yes, I would totally do that.

Get up early, take ME and off you go.
