Classic DIS threads

Mine were poofed. Since it's been awhile, hopefully I won't get into trouble for saying that the doxie thread with the girl having twins who might be girls or they might be boys
Turned out she was a teenager or something. Posters had a ball bursting all the lies.

Also, this one lasted an very shory time- a woman was sugar waxing her legs and the wax got stuck in a private place. I howled with laughter at that one- her description was hilarious but not vulgar.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Love these!! Also there was one by a handyman business owner whose "co-worker"signed onto her computer....or am I confusing threads? She basically got busted on all of her lies.

I still want to know what was in that darn paper bag those people were throwing in the window.

Anyone remember the guy who parked his car in the house while the wife was away?

In my mind, any FC train wreck thread was automatically deemed classic.

I also loved the thread about the wacky poster who buried or found a dead fish in a sandbox???? Not really sure if I have that story right but I am sure someone else will remember who I am talking about.

I think that was IwasatWDWforamonth 's turtle thread. She was always good for a laugh. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1534687

My two all time favorite threads are the man who had the possum in his van and the woman who lost her bathing suit top on a water slide.

OMG, that was hilarious! He took down a wall on the front of his house. Was it his living room or dining room?

ETA: I made a comment about a poster I didn't realize was still on the board until now. It was not mean in any way, shape or form, but I brought up something sad about this posters past that I would never have mentioned if I knew they were still active on the board.

I am thinking way back to the cans of corn thread. I miss those posters!

Sometimes we duck our heads back in every once in a while. I have that old thread stored somewhere on an old hard drive...one day I'll dig it up and post that stuff.

As for Illuminati, goodness knows where that one went.

there was one on the family board where a woman was posting intimate details about her nasty divorce and subsequent child custody battles. she would post about how fearful she was of her ex and his "connections" with the local law enforcement and courts-but then go on and post in detail how she was going to do stuff that flat out violated the custody agreement.

she had a strong base of supporters and they were quick to attack anyone that did'nt fully support whatever crazy (and often illegal) scheme she was up to.

several months into the thread (it like a live soap opera-very addictive) someone pointed out that if she was so scared of her ex and his "connections" she would be wise to remove the kid's pics from her signature and maybe come up with a new user name (that did'nt list her hometown). she did so, and i guess because she felt safer with a new identity started posting even more outrageous plans to thwart visititation-the kicker was, she ended up entering somekind of "vote for poor pitiful me" kind of win a vacation internet contest and ended up posting a link for all her disbff's to vote for her-when you hit the link you found her name, her kids names, where she lived, where she worked......yeah real bright move.

the thread exploded one night after the mods got sick of the name calling and fighting from her bff's, so the thread got closed. but the o/p tried restarting it at least 3 or 4 times-each time with it getting locked. i never saw her again so she may have gotten banned.

i always wondered if that thread may hold some kind of record for points being issued to participants. there were hundreds of posts where people would rant against someone else saying "yeah, you reported me and i got x number of points but..." then they would get more points and be off the boards for a couple weeks but come back and pick up where they left off.

That was Mulan's warrior or something like that. She once claimed that her ex found her on the dis and had to change names. But it was too obvious that she was the same person. She now has a private website that she posts on for her fans.

Barkley-was she the one that was trying to win the car?

Not the same person. I can't remember her name but she still posts here. Someone posted that everything she posted about taking care of the kids she was trying to win the car for was a lie. She also scammed disers into giving her money to take a bunch of needy kids to DW. that never happened.

Ahh, good times were had by all when FC started about Suzy, Perla, and
bringing his dolls to Disney World.

That's the one I just mentioned!! LOL

And yes, who could forget :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:. Believe me, I've tried. ;)
I was thinking of all FC's as classic ones.

Has anyone mentioned the one where the girls posted that she was having twins, "Could be boys, or possibly girls". :confused3

Yes, I did in post #59. :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

I remember the corn people!! LOL...another favorite of mine from way back when was a story of some guy who got pooped on by a gull in the Magic Kingdom. If I remember right it was in Frontierland, but I'm not sure. The way he wrote about it was hilarious. Any old timers remember that?

Any threads titled "most embarrassing moment" usually end up being pretty classic as well.

OMG, someone on this thread mentioned the "cats are better than kids" woman!!! I forgot all about her!!!!!! I hope someone in that thread has a link.:rotfl:

ETA: Does anyone remember the girl who lived in her parents basement and they would eat her food?? Oh please tell me someone remembers that one. I wish I could remember people's screen names!!!

was that the pudding girl who would have multiple threads going on at a time asking advice about different issues in her life-mostly revolving around how her parents would eat her pudding cups, how she and her boyfriend (fiance?) were trying to save to live together, how her job (i want to say she was maybe a cashier at a grocery story or something else retail) was'nt as rewarding as she had thought it would be?

if it's that one people got harsh quick. it got to a point where within the first few posts of one of her new threads people would ask why she was even asking when she traditionaly shot down every suggestion ever offered and just whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiined.

The Corn People, the dwarfs fighting thread and Dixie Amos were my favorites. I also love Uncle Fred and Aunt Ruth--loved that stick collection!

YES! It was the pudding girl! I remember last night while lying in bed that she worked in a grocery store, but I forgot that pudding was the key issue! Oh wow, that was a good one!

Everything in her life was a huge drama. I kind of admired her pluck (or her lunacy) cause gosh dog did she get slammed and in the blink of an eye, she'd start another danged thread. Everything went whoosh right over her head.

That sounds like someone currently on the boards ;)
