I don't know what to do to make it work. I hooked it into the Wii Remote, so that my kids can play the old Gamecube games, but it doesn't seem to respond... anything special I have to do to make it work?

The Wiimote and its accesories don't work with Gamecube games. You have to plug the old Gamecube controllers into the ports on the top of the Wii console. What I did was buy four wireless Gamecube controllers:

They have a little adapter that plugs into the port on the Wii. I found them on ebay for $10 each. This way you don't get strangled to death on cables, like the old days. :rotfl2: And since the Wii is really the same hardware as the Gamecube, just with more RAM, and much more powerful CPU and GPU, all Gamecube games play perfectly on it.

What they said. Lol.

The "Classic" controller is for some of the old school games you buy on the Wii Channel.
