Class Placement Request?

I succumbed and made a request this year...not for a particular teacher but to keep my soon to be kindergartener and our neighbor's child apart. I simply said that they know each other and might be too dependent on each other...I didn't think saying "my neighbor's kid doesn't know anyone in town and is a very possessive brat who won't let my DD play with other friends" - would go over well. We'll see if the more subtle approach works! :rotfl:

If you have any problems I would see if you could get help from the K teacher, she might write a note for you or talk to the teacher who is placing him next year.

I would think that if you know this combination of your DS & the other kid is going to be a bad kne, you ought to let the teacher know! You'll be doing them a favor. It's not like you're saying "I don't want Johnny in Mrs. Smith's class because she is a lousy teacher". You're saying "Johnny and Billy are a bad combination so they are better off if they are in separate classrooms".
