We are spending our last night of 4 at Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista on Palm Parkway. I got a great price through the bookit site for $40 per night.
Pros: Excellent proximity to DTD..depending on traffic about 5 min. drive
free parking
no resort fee
free wifi---but slow
newer carpeting, bedding, furniture, bath/shower unit
separate sink from toilet shower with sliding doors for privacy to room
frig and microwave in room
in room iron/ironing board
in room safe
staff very friendly and helpful
attraction ticket desk in lobby which we saved about $4 on US IOA tix
Cons: 2 double beds (we prefer queen)
we have DD23 and DS16 with us ...so obviously they could not share a bed and we did get a rollaway for an extra $15/night but hardly room to put it in room. Required putting at end of bed between bed and dresser with about 1 inch of space between. This was a major pain!
low, low, low water pressure which required longer showers to rinse hair and get soap out so I'm not sure how that is helping our enviornment.
breakfast buffet was just ok and not a value at $8.99 ea.
(we've had better free breakfasts at the Hampton down the street)
lots of freeway noise at pool area
shuttle schedule to parks is terrible....so glad we had a rental car
All in all..if I could get it for the same price I would probably stay here again unless the Hampton Inn down the street was available for the same price...then I would stay there.
