Clarify FP+ for wishes please

We are considering a FP+ for wishes the night we want to really see it (wedding anniversary). I read that you had to change FP+ to the parade/fireworks time before the parade/fireworks would show, but later read that this "glitch" is now fixed. Have not been able to confirm if am FP+ "change experience" would show an evening parade/fireworks option
Will Wishes FP+ show up (2-15 days before park day, not 30-60 days...) as an option using "change experience" if the FP+ I am wanting to change is at a time other than Wishes or do I have to change a current FP+ time to Wishes time before I can even see if it is an option?

It didn't for me, but that was back in October. I had to make FP+'s for the same time slots as the parade & fireworks, then went back and swapped for them when they became available.
