Clarification on Miami PAT

We sailed in Oct out of PC and understood the process there for PAT in personal vehicles…pull up at the port at your PAT and not before, drop luggage then head to garage for testing. We’re sailing out of Miami for the first time and are confused on the process. Since we park and then take a shuttle to test in tents, do we still pull up to the port at our PAT, drop luggage, park, take shuttle all beginning at PAT. Or do we arrive earlier in Miami with the goal being to have dropped luggage, parked and be off the shuttle right at the PAT?

They don’t let you in the doors of the port until your PAT, there are several people that check it but there is a line of people up against the wall outside the door that got their early waiting for their PAT.

Yes. We took a Lyft to the port, had to wait outside for 8 minutes until we were allowed in the building to proceed with the Covid testing
