1. I believe Magical Beginnings is no more..is that right?

2. what does this mean...

( copied from DIsney site)
If your child is too young to ride an attraction with height restrictions, try this. One parent may wait with the child while the other parent rides the attraction, then switch at the end of the ride. There's no additional waiting in line.

i got this from disney..what is it called and has anyone tried it...how does an adult wait in line if its a ride where the exit/entrance are in to different locations???

3. I booked a CHaracter DInner just before the park closes...the dining operator told me we could eat past closing...just how late can you stay...an hour ? hour an-a half?
do they have a limit...

Thanks for any help!

1. Magical Beginnings ends on Sep. 30

2. This is the child swap. (Don't know if that is what the official name is but CMs will know what you're talking about if you ask to do a child swap) Yes- we do it all the time and it is great.
You tell the CM you want to do a child swap and they will give you a ticket that looks like a FP and it says how many people it is good for- I think it usually says 4 people, (or sometimes they just hand you fast passes.) Sometimes they don't give a ticket at all and they just say OK- come and see me when you are ready. Then the first parent (and companions) get on the ride and the other parent waits with the kid. Then the parent who waited gives the kid to the 1st parent and tells the CM they are doing child swap- gives the ticket and they will either be sent through the FP lane or they will be escorted by a CM to a loading spot.

Someone else can answer the other ???s I am not sure.

We have only used the baby-swap at Soarin' but what happened was this: three in our party rode it while I waited with DGD age 2 at the entrance. They gave us a fast-pass good for three people for me. When they got back, DH stayed with DGD and I rode with DD and DSIL. Not sure how it works for anything else.
It is my understanding that you finish eating and then leave the park after closing...they don't rush you terribly. On our last visit we didn't want to get caught in the crush at MK so after wishes we stopped and got a bite to eat and lingered in the stores until almost 10p (park closed at 9) and there were still lots of people there.

For the dining question, I would think maybe an hour after closing. The CM's want to go home too. If out in the park, I have been there sometimes till the last of the security folks ask me to leave, LOL, just chilling out, maybe an hour and a half or so.
