I don't think that's really it, because there are places to get truly great seafood inland -- even at WDW -- just not that place.Hey not just New Englanders know. I grew up in a beach town here in Florida where you could get fresh seafood at dozens of restaraunts. I'm always disappointed in seafood places that aren't near the ocean.

Cape May, though, isn't really all that expensive. It's only $26 for AYCE! That may be moderately more expensive that some off-site places you're referring to, but WDW restaurants aren't generally "moderately more expensive," but rather are generally far more expensive than off-site restaurants. So, to be fair, I think Cape May does deliver an appropriate value -- I just would think a seafood lover would want more than an appropriate value for that money spent. And I believe the key is get rid of the AYCE element. At that price, on-property, without the buffet, I think they would present a really good option for us.For a Disney restaurant, I EXPECT better. They certainly charge more, so we have the right to expect to be presented with an exceptional experience. IMHO!
