CL at WL versus AKL

We're making our fourth trip to WDW in February, but it will our first stay in a Disney property. I have booked CL at AKL (my 8 yr old is fascinated with wild life). The CL rooms at WL are $90 less. Does anyone know why this would be the case?

It is my understanding that the Concierge Lounge at WL is more limited than at AKL (originally, WL was designed as a moderate resort and didn't ave a CL). AKL's CL is amazing! ! ! We've stayed there twice and it is by far our favorite way to visit WDW. The CM's are friendly and extremely helpful in getting PS and reservations. Wonderful food and drinks. Very dramatic looking lounge overlooking the lobby. I can't say enough good things about.

While I have stayed at WL, it was not CL. We enjoyed our stay, but were not as awestruck as we were at AKL. I suggest a visit for lunch/dinner to WL and stay at AKL.

I'm sure you'll find those that love WL CL as well. Good luck in whatever you choose.
