We’re considering dinner & mini golf at Universal CityWalk on the arrival day of our upcoming Disney vacation. I’ll be traveling with my daughter (7), mom and grandma (in her 80s). Has anyone done this? Recommended restaurants?
Thanks! I’ll definitively look into this! You might consider I-Drive 360 instead (https://i-drive360.com/guest-information/) - lots to do here, many restaurants, and free parking. Pirate Cove Adventure Golf is also right next to the complex.
Don't forget to factor in parking costs.
General Parking
Before 6PM: $25
After 6PM: $10
We did the golf, it's cute. Was pricier than I anticipated.
Wide variety of eats, if you haven't been some are off on side walkways, so I would study online what they offer. Lately we have only eaten at NBC Sports Grill and The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. I would do both again in a heartbeat. One is just a big sports bar/grill but our food has been good. The other is highly themed and fun.
Parking is FREE AFTER 6pm..
Very interesting. Sounds like it is new. Good to know.
- It was not for me a year ago before I got my AP - it was the $6.
- I pulled that copy and paste from a page from their website.
- I also found this on the website, so they have a couple different things listed.
"Introducing free self-parking after 6 pm for all guests (not valid for Halloween Horror Nights™. Additional restrictions may apply and subject to change without notice)."
Then you have a science fiction themed mini golf course back home?We did the mini golf one trip. I agree with PP it was pricier than anticipated, and it was also somewhat crowded. We felt rushed. The course was cute, but nothing special or different than what we have back home.

No snark intended. I'm a fan of mini-golf courses with less common themes. I was planning to visit the CityWalk one for its science fiction theme. When you said you have something similar back home, I was interested that there might be another place with a science fiction themed mini-golf course, as the CityWalk one is the first I've heard of with that theme. Not sure why that called for snark since its my opinion. All mini golf courses anywhere have different themes. I meant the holes were your typical mini golf holes, nothing special - small hills, windmill, two level holes, rocks, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary or that sets it apart from any other mini golf course, IMO.
