Okay, I'm somewhat of an idiot because I learned about the CityPass AFTER we purchased our tickets to DLR. Is there a way we can upgrade our 1-day hoppers to the whole CityPass (with SDZ). I know we'd get two more days at DLR. If so, how would we do this?

My understanding is that if you call Disney directly, you can exchange your one day ticket for a credit towards the purchase of the citypass. Disney sells them too, so it should be fairly easy. The only problem I cna think of, is that they may need you to hand them your actual one day ticket, instead of just reading a number over the phone, so you may have to wait until the day of your vacation to go to the ticket booth and upgrade to citypass. I would still call them to verify though, and who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and it will be as easy as calling and they can just mail you the pass!

Sorry this is a bit delayed, but I wanted to note that the only place you can get the Southern California CityPASS with the San Diego Zoo option is from citypass.com - you won't be able to get the zoo option directly from Disney. I'm not sure how Disney returns/refunds work, but just wanted to point that out since you mentioned that you wanted the CityPASS with SDZ.

I forgot one important detail - you can get 10% off your San Diego Zoo admission by showing your Southern California CityPASS card, so there's another way to get a discount if you aren't able to purchase the zoo option directly from citypass.com. Hope that helps!
