We're meeting some friends at City Walk this weekend and I have a few questions.

1) We have a 7pm reservation at the Hard Rock. Are their "reservations" like Disney's in that it's only preferred seating and we could still wait a while? Does anyone have experience with the Hard Rock and wait times?

2) Is it really a $7 cover to get into the bars at City Walk??

Thanks!! :goodvibes

1) Never had a reservation there, but my friend has a "priority seating" card and it's always gotten us right in. I imagine a reservation would be similar.

2) Yes, each nightclub has a $7 cover. Or, for around $11, you can get an all-club pass. [Cigarz is the one exception, no cover.]

Jumping in to ask more questions....

is City Walk at all kid friendly? Or is it mostly clubs and restaurants for adults? I'm thinking an 8 year old would probably rather spend an hour or two at the pool than time in City Walk.

Are you referring during the day or at night? During the day and early evening, Citywalk is family oriented with shops, restaurants and a movie theater. At night, when the bars start opening, the top level of Citywalk (where the bars are located) becomes more adult oriented, while the lower level remains family friendly.

Thanks. I was thinking of the evening, after the parks are closed. The stores might be fun if the weather is not agreeable with a dip in the pool.

Here's the list of shops in Citywalk from their website: http://www.universalorlando.com/OverviewPages/Shops/atcitywalk.aspx#

We'll usually shop at The Universal Studios Store, Fossil, The Endangered Species Store, The Island Clothing Store, and Margaritaville. Although it isn't mentioned in the list, Hard Rock Cafe also has a store that we shop at too.
