City Walk pass perk?

If you are staying in one of the 3 Universal hotels, do you still need a pass for City Walk?

I'm looking at booking onsite at PBH either via the AMEX website or directly on the Universal website. Is there any advantage in booking via the Universal website? The AMEX website says it includes one pass to City Walk. The Universal website does not mention passes to City Walk.

You do not need a pass to Citywalk, but it might be for free access to clubs at Citywalk.
Advantage of booking direct with loews is, if a better rate comes out you can phone and have it applied to your booking.
For pass to Clubs at Citywalk, you can get these at Orlandocoupons.com with coupons you take to guest services.
