I had to laugh when I read her narration; I knew who it was. He's been there for a couple decades now, right?

There's an M&M store in the Florida Mall in Orlando. Doesn't sound like it's as big as the one in Times Square though.

Not sure, I've never been to either of 'em, myself. But I'd bet the Times Square one is bigger.

I didn't remember the ferris wheel inside there, how fun is that. I love Central Park, there's always something magical about it to me, like I'm in a movie just by being there.

Fun afternoon with lots of nice sightseeing, a "real" Italian lunch complete with hovering and street heckling.

Sounds about perfect to me.

I think they started off the trip pretty well too.

I can't wait to heat about Wicked. I so loved the book !!!

Glenn- love the spreadsheets and other information. I guess the only thing missing was a seating chart for the train, showing where passengers are allowed to sit, and where luggage is supposed to go.

Not intending to hijack the thread here, but:

At this point, I think a highjack might be a good thing!

I left my pillow in my room the 1st time at POR... Soon as I got my luggage to the main entrance I realized it, went back to the room (key still worked): Housekeeping had already been & made beds.
BUT! my pillow, with my pillow slip still on & a fresh slip over it was in the bed.
So, I'm even more wanting to use just my pillow now!

I have to admit, I squealed a little when I saw Wicked in the master plan. It has a very special place in my heart, and brought about my first trip to NYC, so I can't wait hear about that!

Oh, that's cool! Yeah, we bought those tickets around Christmas-time to secure that spot in the master plan.

Ah, the naked cowboy. I've been seeing him on my NYC trips for what feels like forever - wonder what'll happen when he stops?

I don't know, but when he stops singing he's welcome to keep carrying his guitar right where it's been!

Central Park is so beautiful, it's high on my list to explore that area more next time I go back (I've never really been out of the Times Square area, so your TR is research for me!)

Exactly right. In the picture of her at the table you can see that she's wearing a light blue jacket and has a Vera bag. In the pictures of Lauren at the M&M shop (Judy was obviously taking the picture) you can see the Vera bag in particular, and also make out the light blue jacket, in the reflection below the machine. You can see it the best in the 3rd picture.

Central Park looks beautiful! That bridge that Lauren had her picture taken on looks like the one that Giselle dances across in 'Enchanted' (though I'm sure there's more than one bridge in Central Park). Looking forward to reading more

It might be, I don't know. It made me think of Elf...I think there's a bridge in that one too.

Well, I'm a few days behind on this update, but Glenn, your spreadsheets once again make my planning efforts seem inadequate.

I've always thought Central Park seems out of place, myself. Seeing that green strip in the middle of all that steel and concrete just seems a bit odd. I guess I've never been there to experience it first hand and see how it all blends together though. Nice commentary about it.
