City Pass Tickets

We are thinking of purchasing the City Pass tickets since we will be driving down to San Diego and going to Seaworld for a day. Does anyone know if you can add days to the Park Hopper that comes with those tickets?? If not it is cheaper to purchase the City Pass and then also purchasing a 2 day hopper that way we get 5 days out of it.

Are you planning on going to Universal Studio's as well? If not, and you want to do 5 days at Disneyland, then I would buy a 5 day pass and then a pass to Sea World. Since the Citypass also includes a day at San Diego Zoo and Universal Studio's as well. It would not be worth your money.

As far as adding on days, I would call Citypass and ask them if you can add on days. I know some you can and some you cannot. There was a thread last week about some of the passes, but Citypass was not one that was discussed.

I asked the same question & the responses that I got was to check at Disney, either at the front gate for tickets or go inside to the hall (?) and they may upgrade only the difference from the 3 day to the 4 (or 5 in your case), but they weren't sure.
I think that I will call Costco when I purchase instead of purchasing online & ask. They may atleast have an answer if they can't.
If you find out - will you post it so we know for sure???? Thanks!

This is just a blind guess but I don't think you can upgrade the citypass tix because they are not technically DL parkhoppers.

However, I can tell you that we ended up purchasing annual passes to SeaWorld on our trip because SeaWorld allows you to buy the annual passes online with a CC and they will bill you in monthly increments rather than all at once. Plus with the SeaWorld memberships you get a lot of savings in the park. Something like 20% on food, souveniers, and free parking just to name a few. There is even a reserved seating section at most of the shows specifically for Members.

All in all I can say we were impressed with how the annual memberships turned out. They did not cost much more than the 1 day pass and ended up giving us plenty of savings throughout the park. The end result was we were very pleased about buying our tickets individually instead of the citypass. My suggestion is that unless you plan on enjoying the SD zoo, Universal Studios or one of the other attractions included in the Citypass you should consider buying tickets separately.
