We have friends going to Disneyland at the end of this week.
They are arriving on Friday and their first day in the parks will be Saturday.
Their E-Ticket itinerary indicates "CityPass may be picked up at any Main Entrance Ticket Window or at the Guest Services complex to the left of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance"
So my questions is can they pick up their CityPass on Friday even if they are not planning to enter the park until Saturday?

I am going by memory of a few years ago, but as I recall, the ticket booth tears out the citibook voucher, and gives a 3 day hopper, which was not activated until we went through the gate.

So, it would be worthwhile to give it a try on the Friday night before, ask the question. If nothing has changed then you are good to go on Saturday morn. If not, then you know to get to the park earlier the next day.

I would send the majority of the group to the gate line and one person stand in the ticket line, if I had to do it in the morning.

I'm not familiar with the CityPass, but I just wanted to add that the northwest Ticket Booth stays open until DL's closing time. (link)

Here's a link to a wikimap (you should be able to see the "West Ticket Booths" -- the northwest Ticket Booth is the one closest to the monorail and DL's entrance):

Here's a link to a thread about when the Ticket Booths open:

How early do ticket booths open?

HTH :earsboy:

Thank you QueenDoOver and S.S. Columbia.
They are going to go to the ticket booths tomorrow night and get their tickets saving them the hassle Saturday morning.
