Having a hard time deciding which stroller to rent for our trip in October. DS is a big 2 year old- almost 39" and 36lbs. Which do you think will be better or is there not much of a difference? Thanks!!

Not sure about renting, but I just spent days deciding which stroller to buy for my 4 month old and my 3 1/2 yr old who is 35 lbs and 41 inches. He fit ok in both the city mini and the city mini GT. When the sun shade was pushed back his head did kind of hit it, but that happened in both. When the shade was out, even part way, he had plenty of room in both. I ended up buying the GT becuase I wanted something that would be able to go on uneven ground, trails and grass but didn't want the additional bulk of the BOB or Baby Jogger Summit X3. I thought both the city mini and the city mini GT pushed great on pavement, so if that is all you'll be on then I would think either would be fine. If you're going to trails or on grass, I would maybe go with the GT.

Just noticed I was looking at doubles, and you need a single. I presume they would be the same, just smaller and easier to maneuver. :)

DS is almost 3 (12 more days!!!) and 40" and 29 lbs. We've used a City Mini since birth. His head now hits the top of the canopy when it is closed but is fine when it's open and he never complains about it bothering him. I had my almost 5 year old niece (46" & 44 lbs) and DS both sitting in the stroller a couple of weeks ago and it still pushed easily. And she also didn't complain about being smushed. :)

Thanks all! Very helpful information! Now to just make a decision, ugh, lol!
