Would the baby jogger city mini be an appropriate sized stroller to bring with us on the dream? Or should we get an even smaller umbrella stroller? My daughter will be almost 2 so i don't anticipate using constantly, but may get used for naps if we are not in the stateroom, and of course in the airport.

My daughter brought the double stroller with her last April, and it was a life saver! It fit through the stateroom doors, and in the elevators also.

I have the city mini and we cruised last Jan on Magic.
Have to say you won't be able to roll into/out of your stateroom with your stroller open. Too big.

I can't say about Dream yet.

Regarding the usage, if you don't anticipate going off the boat and having her nap in it then a smaller one would be just fine.
I honestly will probably bring mine again just because I would like to be able to relax on the open deck/pool deck while she's napping in her stroller. But that's just me... :)

Isn't city mini awesome for napping?

We used ours on the Wonder and will be bringing it on the Dream. It was perfect size IMHO. I used it everywhere on the ship. Even in the tiny elevators, we were still able to pack a ton of people in. Great for ports too. Loved how quickly it folds. Our taxi driver in Nassau kept commenting on how I folded it. Thought that was funny. I was able to get it through the cabin door. We just kinda had to lean it to 1 side slightly. But that saved us the many times DS fell asleep in it. I would recommend it. But I am biased, I love my City Mini.

I'm using the City Micro this weekend, but love the City Mini. You may find it just a bit too big for the corridors. That said, remember that you can also check out Baby Jogger strollers from Guest Services; you just need to leave a deposit.

Just the info I was after!!!

I didnt realise that you could hire strollers...are they just for ship use or can you take them with you on excursions?

Do you know what size they are? Do they charge a daily rate for hire?
Can I pick it up on the first day and just keep it for the duration of the cruise or do I have to return it daily?

Many Thanks

Last January, they were free although you did need to leave a deposit. From what I recall, they could be taken off the ship. They were the same strollers that are used in the parks; somewhat bigger than the Mini, but same general design. They reminded me of the Baby Jogger "Q" strollers.

We have an Inglesina Zippy do people know how well they will fit on the ship. I guess I should take it in a store and compare it to the city mini stroller. I love the Zippy because it is nice like a full stroller but folds like an umbrella.
