City Mini owners- a few questions

I am looking at possibly getting a City Mini for our dd2. I was going between it and a Peg Pliko.

I am wondering where those of you who bought one purchased it. I would really like to see one in a store, but no stores around me carry them. Just wondering if there would be one nearby that I could go check out.

Also, when your child is sitting in the stroller can he/she sit straight up, or are they leaning back at the highest sitting level since it is a jogging type stroller? We have a true jogging stroller that we use at the beach since it has bicycle tires and it is a sling seat that my dd hates.

Does anyone have the tray attatchment? I was really wanting a tray for our Disney trip so I can put DD's snacks and drink on it while pushing her around. I see it is an extra item and cost, but would get it anyway. Im just wondering about folding the stroller with this attached or if you have to take it off.

Thanks for any help you can give. I really would like to see one and put her in it before I buy, but that may not be an option. We dont even have Pegs in my area to try those out.

I bought a city mini for my son when he was 2. I was using a Peg Perego Aria before and I think the city mini is far superior and so does he. He always asks to ride in it. I love how smooth it is and how it handles. What I did was loosed the straps a bit so my son isn't pinned back against the seat. He can lean forward and look around and he hasn't complained once about how he sits in it... and he loves to complain! I don't have the snack bar, he's old enough now that I just hand him a snack and a drink. Hope this helps!

I don't have one but this is one of my dream strollers. I am going to get the Double when this LO is born. Everyone that I have spoken too LOVES it. I very rarely hear of any complaints and I have been stalking this stroller for about 2 years now. My DS is 2.5 and he doesn't really ride in a stroller much but I think when the new DS is here we will use it more for walks in the summer and then WDW next year DS will want to ride more.

I have the Pliko P3 that I bought to replace my HUGE Chicco Cortina when DS was about 18 months old or so. I really like it and still use it when DS wants to ride. I don't really have any complaints about it ... I bought a 2008 model in early 2009 and got a good price on it, that's why I got it instead of the City Mini at that point. If they were the same price I would have gone with the city mini.

I would also ask this question on the family board. there are lots of stroller reviews over there. I don't own one but have heard good things about them over there.

I posted it on the families board too. The mod moved it here. I am surprised I have gotten no responses on the families board. So many people on these boards sing the praises of the city mini and I thought I would have tons of help with my questions by now. Oh well, maybe someone will post on that forum from their experience.
