Citrus Parade

Not sure if this is the best palce to ask this, can anyone that lives in the Orlando area or anyone that has been to the Citrus Parade give me any information about the parade? I am wondering whether I should buy tickets or plan to just find my own spot to watch it? I have no experience with large parades so I am not sure how early I need to show up to get a decent place to watch? Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.
