Citricos vs Topollinos - which is better for dinner and why?

Haven't done citrocos but topolinos is awesome but very hard to get reservation which tells you many people feel the same way

Much prefer Citricos, most notably food quality and overall menu; also like the layout better.

Citricos is in my top 5; Topolinos is not in my top 10.

I currently have Toppolinos dinner reservations but am thinking of switching to Citricos. Never did either.

I've done both, although not the new menu at Citricos. I'd take Citricos over Toppolinos any day. I liked the service and food much better, I like the GF better than RIV in case I want to sit and relax before of after my meal.

Done both and there's no question in my mind that Citrcos is better. Not that Toppolinos is bad, just not as good.

Maybe it's just been too long since I've been to Citricos, but I prefer Topollinos. I really enjoy the food there, and the view is great.

Citricos. The food is better, and that ultimately is why we eat.

Beyond the food, the view at Topolinos can't make up for the horribly designed space. Looks like is has been designed to be a convention space 1st, and a restaurant 2nd. too wide open, no decor to speak of. very bland feeling.

We ate at both during our January WDW trip. We have an ADR for Citricos (as well as Narcoossee’s and Jiko) for a post-cruise WDW stay later this month. We’re voting with our feet in the Cirtricos vs, Topolinos sweepstake. Topolinos was nice, but Citricos had better food, better service, and great ambience. Cost was essentially the same at both.

I still can't get over the lack of pasta main entree options at Topolinos when part of their décor is pasta. 😐
As far as ambience and views, I would book Toledo over Topolino's.

We haven't tried Citircos but it looks gorgeous and the menu reads delicious.

Topolino’s menu has almost no appeal to me …even the pastas, which are heavily focused on mushrooms

Dined at Citricos several times before the renovation and it was hit or miss. Looking forward to trying it since the renovation. Have been to Topolinos several times and never had a bad meal. Great service and loved seeing the fireworks at EPCOT from their balcony.

Enjoy both- but the Sole Meunière at Topolino’s is one of the best things I’ve eaten in my entire life. That’s why we keep going back.

I know signature restaurants love having small menus but the Topolino's menu is just way too small for it to be a frequent repeat for us. I'll give it another chance some time but we were pretty unimpressed by our dinner. They for sure need another pasta option, maybe a red sauce or cheese sauce. My lobster pasta was so average, even Red Lobster here in MN serves better seafood! It felt like a lot of style over substance, as Paul Hollywood would say.

We love Jiko so good!

My family (all adults) was very underwhelmed by Topolinos. We were so excited to have scored an ADR and felt let down. As someone else mentioned, it felt like a convention space design. Our table was up against a wall, almost felt like it was an afterthought, and our server was not attentive at all. The food was just OK. Definitely a one and done for us. We dined at Citricos on the same trip and were much happier. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere much more.

We've done both and enjoy both but love Topolinos. The deck at sunset is gorgeous and we like to take a skyliner ride to Crescent lake to walk around after. There is a bunch of construction going on at the GF area right now.
