Hi everyone,
Can you please help me decide? We are staying at BCV at the end of July and will also be celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary. We have ADRs at Narcosses but I am wondering if Citricos would be a better choice. Does anyone have any ideas or experience with either of these restaurants? Thank you for your help!!::) :) :)

We ate there in 2006 for our 32nd anniversary. They gave us a special menu to keep that said, "Happy 32nd Wedding anniversay Rudy and Sylvia".
We also got a special dessert that said the same thing. The chef came out and talked to us too. It was so much fun. We are going again for our 34th.

We are also going to Narcossee. I don't know what special things that they do.

First of all, you should review the menus and decide which is more suited to your tastes.

Narcoosees sits on the water, has a lovely view of the lagoon for those who get seated by a window. The atmosphere is fairly casual. They are one of the few places that offer lobster. Our last two visits here have not been very relaxing as the place has been teeming with loud people; it's gotten much more popular than it was 5 years ago.

Citricos is in the main building and overlooks the grounds of the GF. Atmosphere is more formal. Our meals here have always been very quiet but I have read others posts' that said they've eaten here and the place was packed and noisy.

IMO, Citricos has better food than Narcoosees. I do love seafood but FF and bluezoo, both located near BCV where you are staying, have much better seafood. I think people like Narcoosees because it's a pretty setting and it's at the GF. I've also read that a lot of non-fish eaters enjoy eating here too as the menu is perhaps not as adventurous as the other seafood places on property.

I'm sure you will enjoy either one.

I've been to both and preferred both the food and atmosphere at Citricos. That's not to say Narcoosees was bad, it was just louder whereas Citricos seemed more elegant. At Citricos we had fantastic food, best service and it was our favourite meal of the trip.
