Citricos or Narcoosees?

I made a reservation at both, but we have to decide quick because I don't want to be one of those people that hog reservations!

It will just be my DH and I, and we have early ressies (5:30) because we will be going straight to MNSSHP from dinner.
I originally books Citricos, but my dh wasn't thrilled with the current menu selection, so I had him look at Narcoosees and he prefered that.

I'm okay with either, except that it looks like Narcoosees will probably cost a lot more.

What are your experiances at both places? How much should I budget (OOP!!!) for either?

I'd really like to make my choice tonight or tomorrow. I don't want to hold both ressies when I only need one.

Your opinions, please!

If dh isn't already thrilled with the menu at Citricos perhaps you should scratch that one and add another to the mix to decide between :)

p.s. I am also interested in hearing which one folks prefer!

Reviews of Citricos don't seem that great. But I can recommend from my experience, Narcoossee's was fantastic! Great service, view can't be beat (watched the MK fireworks from the deck with wine in hand)... The food was 80% great, but I think it was because they kept our food under a heat lamp a little too long, likely to wait out the fireworks. But I would absolutely go again! The bartenders there are wonderful at recommendations, and can make special drinks on request. Try it!

I've dined at both, and although I enjoyed both I much preferred Citricos. It was quieter and the food and service were outstanding.

We LOVE Narcoossee's. It is one of our favorites. Wonderful food and wonderful service!

Citrico's is one of our favorite and must-do restaurants! We especially love the Braised Veal Shank!!

We have eaten at Narcoose's twice ... it was very good.

Narcooses reminds us of a seafood/FL Keys kind of place while Citrico's reminds us of an upscale Meditarenean (sp?) kind of place.

Huge fan of Citrico's, always eat there and always recommend it, but there is a post on these boards right now that might make me rethink that..

Hopefully.....we can get some answers on what happened on the night in question...but unless someone from the Citrico's staff posts or someone from Disney, what happened the night in question will go down in Disney history as one of the biggest mistakes I have seen at any restaurant on property.

Are you kidding? Citricos gets consistently excellent reviews on this thread.

Anyway, I've dined at both, and while Narcoosee's is a good meal at a seafood restaurant at which you can dine at home, Citricos' excellent meal and even better service are truly special.

We prefer Citricos over Narcoosees for both the food and the dining experience. Narcoosees has a nice view of the lagoon but for fish, good fish, I like Flying Fish better.

Yeah, seems thios thread is bringing out the lovers! But I looked all over for reviews last fall when we were trying to make reservations for our faves to try, and I didn't see much love for Citricos at that time. And another recent thread was even begun by someone who wasn't seeing much being said, so I am not alone.
