Citrico's or Jiko's

They are tied as my second favorite restaurants on Disney Dining plan (Flying Fish is first). I think the overall meal is a probably a bit better at Citricos but the appetizers and wine selections at Jiko are better.

If you only pick one, I'd base it on which menu appeals to you more.

This would be a very hard choice for me as we had GREAT meals at both restaurants. But if I had to pick one, it would probably be Jiko. It was a little quieter there than Citricos and I love the Mac & Cheese filet!

Jiko is pretty cool...with the wall changing colors for the "sunset". The food was excellent and we had a nice view of a thunderstorm through the large glass windows (my DGF is from Las Vegas so she doesn't get to see tstorms much... :) )

Citrico's had a more upscale feel to it (and the Grouper was the best I'd ever had...on par with a great seafood place I used to go to in Port St. Lucie when I was there on business)

Hard to say which I'd pick. Coin toss! :)

But I would pick Jiko. We ate there for the first time this past January and it was definitely our best meal, and probably our best on Disney property over 6 trips. Best service of any restaurant we ate at this trip, great wine and very good food (our 7 year old picky eater declared the mac and cheese the best of the trip)

Citricos.

I've been to Citricos three times, and have always enjoyed it. Jiko I've been to four times, and two of those times I was disappointed with it. I've found both the service and the food there to be very hit and miss.

It's a real tough call, these are probably the two best signature restuarants on property. My preference would probably be Jiko, but even I'm not sure because Citricos is good too.

Both are awesome restaurants, but I have to give Citricos the edge. The service has always been excellent.

I've only eaten at Citricos, but I loved it. The service, food and atmosphere were all great!

If I had to pick one, it would be Jiko, but Citrico's is a very close second. Those are my two favorite restaurants at WDW.

We ate at both this past Nov (tons of pics and full review in my Nov 09 link) and by far Citricos was the better....it was just incredible!

I really like both of these. To me, Citricos is perhaps a little more upscale, quiet and romantic, with more traditional food. Jiko's is slightly more casual, with more exotic offerings. It's a hard choice, but if you were asking me the best restaurant in DW, I would have to say Citricos.

you can't go wrong with either, really!

Our choice would be Jiko, but only by a slight edge.

Tough one as they are my two favorite signatures! I'd give Jiko the edge as an interesting destination (Citrico's is a little "upscale hotel sterile" in its design for us), but you can't go wrong with either choice!

Jiko is our favorite restaurant because of the whole package. Citrico's is, however, fantastic as well. Especially the food. It's a cop out answer, but i'd suggest you check out the menus for both and pick the one you think you'd enjoy more. Personal preference, as you read here, trumps all.
