Citrico's anyone?

We're looking forward to dining at Citricos in November! We're tired of Cali Grill and need a change.

Best signature for food and service. I love it there. I would ask for Keira or the blonde Nancy as a server if either one is working.

crab gateau--aaah, the best appetizer on property.:cloud9: I've had the pork, veal, and filet and all were good, but enjoyed the pork most. They used to have a berry gratin that was out of this world, but it's no longer on the menu.:sad1: The chocolate banana tart is pretty good though. Service has always been excellent.

We love Citricos. The first time we went there was the first night of our honeymoon in 1998 (shortly after they opened). We have been there for every trip since and it is still a favorite.

It took me forever to convince my wife to try this place and WOW she nows has it as a must on every trip. It is excellent food, service and atmosphere. Given my choice of any Disney restaurant Citrico's is my top choice. Only Blue Zoo is close in my opinion, this of course is taking V&A out of the running.

Great restaurant, in my top 3 at WDW! Check out my signature for a link to the February dining report, there's a review of Citricos in there (with pics!)

Citricos is incredible! With all the hype that LeCellier and Cali Grill get, IMO Citricos has far better food and service than either of them. It's a true hidden gem. I'm sure you'll love it! ::MinnieMo

this is good to know! ive dined at both California grill and le cellier so id love to check this out! :wizard:

Ok, I just have to say I'm really excited that I made a reservation there now! It was kind of a last minute thing and we were looking for a really nice place and it sounds like we made the right choice!

Outside of V&A, this may be the only signature restaurant at which you can still expect excellent-and-beyond service.

Love it! Got a custom Tink cake for my good friends 3 year old from the Grand Floridian bakery and they did such a nice job presenting it and then boxing it up.

Wow, we've never been but after reading the posts, I'm considering switching ADR from Narcoosees to Citricos.

We went to Citricos during our Grand Gathering in January and not only was it the best meal of the trip but far and away the best dining experience I've ever had at WDW. The filet was incredible and the tropical fruit creme brulee was indescribably good.

I have only been once & I loved it. It was one of the best meals I ever had. I was with a friend. I have since tried to get DH to go with me, but he has balked at the menu. I'm not sure why as he would like almost everything on the menu. :confused3

This trip I just went ahead and made a ressie for us for one night. I know he'll love it. It is the ressie I am most looking forward to.

Love Citrico's. Very good food and a really nice atmosphere and great service.

We were just at Citrico's on Monday June 21st. Loved it!

Casual atmosphere..not overly stuffy.

We came out of MK and changed tops/shirts and shoes in the restrooms of the GF...to at least be a little bit respectable.

DF wore nice Khaki shorts and polo shirt and me a pair of white dressy shorts and nice top with a lightweight sweater (glad I had...a little chilly)

ADR was for 7PM, arrived checked in and was seated within a minute or two.

Server was great. Loved being able to watch the open salad station, open kitchen and dessert prep area.

Mango Margarita was probably the best ever! Red Sangria wasn't bad either.

Restaurant Manager stopped by while we were dining. Very nice guy. Actually engaged in conversation vs. the "how's everything-good-thanks for coming".

We both had the shrimp appetizer and steaks for dinner. Amazingly the steak here was much better than at Yachtsman or Brown Derby the previous nights!

For dessert, I surpirsed DF with a mini-two tier wedding cake for his Birthday--chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling--totally amazing! I had the Tiramasu-loved it.

Overall, I give them an A+ Great Dining Experience.

Just an FYI, we ate at Narcooses in December and had the same experience as at Citrico's. Its really a toss up in our opinion--you won't go wrong at either place!!! :thumbsup2

I had the Filet Sicilian when there--it was the best meal of the trip. Mmmm. It was soooo good!

I think we could safely change the title of this thread to,
:thumbsup2Citrico's everyone!:thumbsup2
