After much persuasion DBF has finally agreed to try these restaurants. We have added quite a few first time choices to our ps this year and these were the last two restaurants that I have yet to try that I wanted to try.

I have already asked for comments from our American friends but would appreciate a few british view points.

I have booked them already so I am not looking for any other restaurants but your opinions and thoughts would be appreciated.

We ate at Citricos last October. Very pleasant, spacious restaurant and very good food. I recall a melt-in-the-mouth lamb shank, but I'm not sure whether I ordered it or whether Matt did. (A small matter such as it being someone else's meal wouldn't stop me enjoying it! ;)) I remember it being much quieter than similar places such as Flying Fish and California Grill. It had been on my 'to do' list for some time before we eventually got around to trying it. I'm not sure that I would go again - not because there was anything wrong with it, but because I have so many favourites and so many more still to try. I guess you could say that maybe it doesn't have the wow factor.

Before our IllumiNations Cruise in May we stopped at the Crew's Cup Lounge for a drink. It's right next to the Yachtsman's Steakhouse. We liked it so much that we went back there afterwards for a steak. We didn't eat in the restaurant itself, so I can't tell you anything about that, but the steak was good.

We ate at Citrico's last October too!

I had a citrus – infused Martini and DH had a Citropolitan martini while we were looking at our menus. Then I had Warm Onion Tart and DH had sauteed shrimp to start followed by a polenta dish for me and Paprika and Honey-marinated Pork Tenderloin and finally for dessert I had Chocolate and Banana Torte and DH had a Cheesecake. The food here was very good.

Not a place I think we would eat at again - it just wasn't Wonderful, if you know what I mean. The restaurant was busy while we were there and I was surprised to see so many kids.

I've eaten at Yachtsman Steakhouse and it was very good I just don't know if it's worth you doing this and Shulas as well. I've heard the steak is much better at Shulas although the steak we had at the Yachtsman was very very good. I also love the asparagus and mushroom ragout at the Yachtsman.

I fell asleep during this meal, way too jetlagged, so never got to dessert.

If I was doing Shulas I'd do Flying Fish rather than Yachtsman just my 2 pence worth ;)
