Citricios or Narcooses ?

Since we are staying at the Poly on our next vacation, I' like to try restaurants on the monorail line. Which one is better? Citricios or Narcooses?

Both restaurants are very good, but they are completely different. Citrico's is Mediterrean cuisine while Narccossee's is more upscale American food with really good seafood. If I could only go to one of the two, I would pick Citrico's because I find their food the more unique of the two. IMO, you can't go wrong with either of them.

Personally, I'd go with Citricos. I've had two good meals there compared with one awful meal at Narcoosee's.

Narcoossee's has a nice view of the castle, but it is a bit too loud for us. We also have noticed that the food has been going progressively downhill in the past few years. The food at Citrico's was pretty good, and it was nice and quiet. We were even able to see the fireworks from the window there, though the music wasn't piped in.

Wife and I went to Narcooses for dinner one night. First of all, the service was top notch. Even though the menu was somewhat limited in the amount of choices for each course, the selections we made were very good. We asked for a table by the window since the restaurant is on the lagoon not in the main building (which is why I picked it) and had a very nice view of the MK. I thought I timed the ressie right so we would be done eating about an hour before the fireworks started at the MK since the GF is one stop away from the MK. Well I got my hours mixed up and the fireworks were going to start while we were eating. I wasn't aware of that until our server came up to offer us a chance to view them from their veranda. So we took our drinks and we were reassured that our table will not be touched until after we sit back down. My wife and I went outside and all of a sudden the lights went off inside and the music started right above my head! The piped in the music as well! I know that they did that at the CR but I didn't know that it would happen at the GF as well. I know most of you already know that this happens and we are WDW veterans as well but we discover new things on every trip!

Bottom line, find out if the fireworks are happening that night and make your reservation accordingly. You won't be disappointed with the food or the show.
