I know some people are familiar with TYP. I'm hoping you can help me.
I know I am able to purchase Disney World Tickets with Citi ThankYou Points, and I have a Citi Premier so that value is 25% more until April.
Can anyone help me out with the following?
1. Do the tickets expire? I don't know that we will travel on whatever date I set, but I would really like to buy with the increased value. Are they good indefinitely toward the purchase of a new ticket? If so, how would they value the ticket since it is being purchased with TYP.
2. Is the same true for Disneyland Tickets? Not sure if they even sell them, but if so can they be extended toward any travel dates at the value they are when purchased?
Another thought is to cash them out another way. I see gift cards at 1 cent per point. Are there any great values I should be looking into? Airlines? Transfer to hotel points? I am closing my Citi Premier in June, and I would like to cash them out before then.
