without reading through the 22 page thread, are side by side double strollers still allowed come May 1 with the new rules?

yes both the regular and the GT will meet the size restrictions (as will the Summit)
Requirements are 31X52

Citimini double is 30X44
Citimini double GT is 30X44

The Summit X3 Double is too wide. It’s listed as 32.48”. The single is fine.
