Is cirque worth the ticket price? How far in advance should one book tickets?

I fell asleep. It was my first Cirque, and I was unimpressed. My wife has been to many Cirque du Soleils, and she wasn't into La Nouba either. Some people love it, though. Some parts were impressive, but on the whole it's not worth it. I will say that if you decide to go, there's no bad seat, so you don't need to be front and center.

DH and I saw it and loved it. We both thought it was well worth the money. We bought our tickets a few months before our trip.

It is definetely worth the price. It's amazing and must be seen! I don't think its borring at all. Everything about it is great. If you have cable, check the bravo channel. They sometimes show it on tv and you shouldn't watch it all, but take a glance at it so you can judge for yourself. It's much much better live though.

La Nouba, as all Cirque shows are, is fabulous. Nothing like it. It really is indescribable.

If you decide to go, best seating is in the second tier seats, above the walkway between the lower and upper levels. Much action is up high, as well as on that walkway, and much easier to just look, rather than craning to look up or behind your seats.

Sections 203, 204 and 205 are super, and row EE gives you best value.

There is a new, HIGH priced section, 103, that I think is a ripoff, plus not good seats, JMO

Cirque at DD is fantastic. DS loved it and we're going again next year.
We got tix for DH's mom and dad for Xmas becuase they winter in FL and they loved it, too.

We loved Cirque. I booked our tickets at 180 days out and had great seats!!!!

Cirque is fantastic. It is a show that everyone should see at least once.
