When we go to Florida in September we would really like to go to Cirque du Soleil. Should I book our tickets now to be sure of good seats or will I have no trouble booking when we get there.
Book now. Cirque is very popular and you may have difficulty in getting the seats you want if you wait until you arrive. Apart from having to spend the money a few months early, there is nopenalty to booking in advance.
If you know your travel dates, and you are CERTAIN that you want to visit Cirque ( or any other popular attraction for that matter) IMHO you may as well book up before you go. September is one of the quieter times at WDW , but because of that they may run less shows. Also because the weather is at it's least predictable in that moneth, indoor activities are going to be more popular. I've noticed that there are a few days in both July and Sept that Cirque is closed. Here is a link for tickets http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/CirqueDuSoleil/en/tickets/resident/lanouba/default.htm
The theatre for Cirque in Orlando is particularly well designed without any bad seats, but obviously some seats are better than others and offer a different view of the show. The front blocks of seats give a "close up" view of the action, but some things take place on the walkway between the front and the second blocks of seats, IMHO you get a better "over view" from the front seats just behind the walkway. There is SOOOO much going on that you almost need to be a little way back in order to take in the "overall effect" as opposed to concentrating on a smaller part of the stage. Anyway here is the seating plan so you can decide which seats you'd prefer. http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/CirqueDuSoleil/en/tickets/resident/lanouba/seatingplan.htm
My preference would be in the front 4 or 5 rows of blocks 203,204 or 205
I would certainly book them now. That's then something else that you don't need to pay for when you get there. We've already got our tickets for our trip in October.
