We are going to the 6pm showing on 20th October and then Raglan Road for dinner - its 180 days away from today, I know that because today's the earliest I could book Raglan Road. Only ordered the tickets last Wednesday and they arrived this morning, excellent service. Done all the ADR's now, printed out the menus so the family can take a look. DH is notorious at taking forever to read every single word on a menu before deciding what he wants. I could have eaten a three course meal before he's got past the appetizers!

I'm so excited for you. You will have a wonderful time.

We went to see Cirque last year - it's amazing. I can't stress enough how good this show is!

I have posted a few times about Cirque, I wish I had gone to see it without reading how good it was and everyone saying its the best show ever etc.
DS and DW really enjoyed it, thought it was very good, I was not impressed but after everything I had read I think I expected too much. For me it was OK but would rather go see a musical or play, Cirque I just felt like I had watched a few very good cirus acts. I know most people think it is brilliant but it was not for me.
Hope you enjoy it

Wayneg - I know what you mean. I'm a bit concerned I'm getting overly excited about the whole holiday. You look forward to something for so long and then it doesn't live upto your expectations. I'm sure Disney will deliver though. I bought a set of Cirque DVD's from Amazon to see whether it would be worth seeing or not.

Bit more downmarket, but we saw a similar show in Blackpool a couple of years ago which we were very impressed with. Can't remember what it was called but it was on at the Pleasure Beach, only cost about £25 for a Saturday afternoon matinee. We loved it, DH reckons its the best show he's seen apart from Lion King in the West End.

Wendy - Disney won't let you down...i think when you get there you will relax and begin to enjoy yourself. We really enjoyed the "circus" and Kara was very disappointed last year that we hadn't booked to go.
What time did you book Raglan Road for - after the circus? Did you phone via Disney or direct to RR..i am still debating whether to book a meal there.

I booked it for 8.15pm, after the show and I rang Disney dining on the usual number. We are going to the 6pm show. I thought it might be a bit of a rush to eat beforehand, the CM said its only a 5 minute walk away but looking at the map of DTD it looks a bit more than 5 minutes especially walking through a Saturday night crowd. Hope we've done the right thing, I expect it to be really busy with everyone leaving the theatre and probably wanting to eat at the same time. Book it if you want to, you can always cancel if you can't talk the family into going.

Hi Wendy,

I'm sure you will enjoy La Nouba, it's the best show i have ever watched.:thumbsup2

Gone and booked it - haven't told the family! 8.30pm on 19th October - thanks making my mind up...i have never thought about cancelling before:thumbsup2

me and my partner absolutely loved it but strangely the kids thought it was just ok...they were 8 and 6 at the time...i just don't think they understood how hard the stunts..circus skills were to do..
We are going again next year they will be 11 and 9 and we will go again. Hope they understand it alot more this time. It is still the best show I have seen.
