I have 2 really well behaved girls ages 8 & 5 (at time of travel). Will they enjoy Cirque? Heck, are they even allowed to see the show? We have done Hoop de Doo 2 times & I am looking for an alternative - any other suggestions?

While I'm sure they would enjoy it, personally, I would wait until they're a little older...maybe 12 and 9. Tickets for the show are expensive (in my opinion), and waiting those couple extra years would ensure that it's something your kids could truly appreciate.

That being said, I'm sure there will be many posting saying that your kids would enjoy it...and, to be completely honest, I couldn't fight that reasoning either.

To me, however, I would wait a few more years.

If you decide to go this year, enjoy it! It really is wonderful.

I think they would love Cirque, and there's certainly nothing about it that isn't family-friendly! There are lots of kids at every performance, and 95% of them seem to be riveted to their seats. Go ... enjoy!

My daughter is 7 now, she's been going to Cirque shows since she was about 4. We've seen 4 different shows around the country. DW and I are a little "Cirqued" out, but DD still wants to go back when we're in Disney again.

Your kids should find it dazzling.

We took my girls when they were 6 and 3. They were both fascinated. It was slightly overwhelming for the littler one a few times, but for the most part it was a complete success!

We took ours in December, ages 10 and 5. They both absolutely loved it!

The five year old never took her eyes off the stage the entire time. At other times, she can be easily distracted, but not at Cirque.

I would heartily recommend it for children.

We took our 5 yr. old to Cirque and she loved it. Of course, we watch all the Cirque shows on Bravo too. We had a very diverse group: my husband and I are in our 30's, my mom was 60, and we had our four kids (3 girls, 1 boy) who were then 5, 10, 15, & 17. Everyone in the group loved it and we felt that the money was well spent. We did save a little on our tickets by buying through ticketmania.com. It looks like the same price but the ticketmania price includes sales tax. They also delivered the tickets to our hotel, which was a nice benefit.
