Cirque du Soleil??

I was wondering if anyone has taken a two year old to see Cirque du Soleil.

I really want to see it with my DH and I dont want to leave my son with anyone. My DS will sit and watch an entire movie, but they are things like monsters ink. ect. My DH thinks he will sit and watch the show but we have never been so we really dont know.

Has anyone ever taken a 2 year old....and how did it go?

The one at DTD is dark and there is little to no talking. Mostly new-age classical music. Also, you may want to call and see if they will even let you buy a ticket for a two year old. The ones that travel from city to city have an age limit of 5. Hope this helps!

It does help a little. I am not sure if he can sit quiet for as long as the show lasts but I must mention that his fav. music is Jazz and classical He Loves it!

We were there sans kiddos in September, and people with older kids (5-8 ish?) were walking out, and the kids were crying. It can be scary, and the music is LOUD!

Thanks. I dont think we will be going It probably will be too much for such a little one... Maybe in the next few years.

We went in July '06, DD turned 2 in Dec. She was very good and quiet. There is so much going on it kept her attention. I don't think she had a ticket b/c she was on my lap. I took the sippee cup and cheerios!! That helps keep mine happy.

If you are going to Sea World at all during you trip. Go see the Odyssea Show. It is like a mini Circque (30mins. long). and all three of my kids (3,7,9) loved it!
