1. Has anyone been to the Cirque du Soleil? How are each of the catergory's seats? of course category 1 is closer and supposely the best...but truely, how are cat 2 and 3? Really bad, doesn't make a big difference?

2. Is this one of the options on the Magic Plus events? If so, what category is included for this option on a ticket?

THANKS! :flower:

The venue for Cirque is pretty small......so, in my opinion, there are no bad seats. We had category 1 seats last summer....I wouldn't spend the money for cat 1 again. I would go see Cirque for sure! Awesome show! But I'd save the money and do cat 2 or 3. Just my opinion! :flower:

We had category 2, and the seats were GREAT! I agree with California Mom -- looking around, I couldn't imagine which might be "bad" seats. Just don't arrive late, whatever you do! ;)

We had level 2 and the seats were fantastic!! I would also imagine that there is not a bad seat in the house. I wouldn't pay the extra for level 1 since level 2 was so great.

It was absolutely one of our favorite evenings on our trip last year. Our dd (3 at the time) loved everything about it. We had to buy DVD's since we have been home to watch it again and again. The show amazed all of us and was just fabulous!

My wish is that they showed more than La Nouba. I'd like to go again for our trip this year, but I hate to pay to see the same show.

I believe we ordered online two weeks before our trip last Feb. Depending on when you go, they can be sold out.

Here is the seating plan for reference. When it first opened years ago, I sat in the yellow, second level just to the left of the letter C. AMAZING SEATS! You have a full view of the stage and a view of the walkway that bisects the theatre longways. That's where some of the performers are for the pre-show. If you were in the front, you'd have to turn around.

I think sitting up front has advantages and disadvantages. You do get to see close up and really catch the details, but you are also so close up, you might miss the "whole picture". Also, the orchestra is to the right and left of the stage, so I don't know how that affects quality of sound in the front. It sounded great in the middle/back.

I'm taking DH to see it in Oct and springing for the Cat 1 seats, second level. I'm also going to pre-order them since I want particular seats. Have fun, its a great show!

i actually saw cirque twice during my college internship in 03, the 1st time i had a seat in the very last row, and the show was just as amazing as it was the 2nd time i saw it, i had a ticket at the bottom row of the upper level (category 2)

I just ordered my tickets for my trip in July - wanted to make sure I got good seats. I've never been to the show before, so I'm looking forward to it. I got the Cat. 2 seats to save a little money. Since I ordered so early, I got great seats - section 202, row AA - so I'll be in the first row of the second level. I should have a great view from there. I ordered mine from the WDW site. :cool1:

I'm not sure what "Magic Plus" is - Are you meaning the Premium package?

If so, then YES tickets are included in the package and it's category 2 seats.

We have section 202. I have heard there are no bad seats so I'm going with the flow for it. :) Now, the trick will be to have DH not completely freak since he hates clowns and I've heard there are clowns in the preshow :rotfl: I just hated to waste his ticket so to speak since we are paying for it, so I'm making him go. There is a method to my madness though - We also have a 1 year old, so my thinking is if the 1 year old gets fussy, etc.. he can take him back to the resort (along with possibly the 5 year old who could go either way with this show - love it or totally freak on it).

I just went a week ago and I got my ticket at the window two hours before show time. More than one person might need a more advanced purchase. I was in the very last row at the top. I could see absolutely everything. The last row is only 75 ft from the stage.

I think it is better to be in the back row. People in the front section had to keep turning around because some, not a lot, of the show was in the isle behind them. I certainly wouldn't pay extra for stage side tickets, I think the view is much better up top. Just my opinion!

Cirgue is certainly not cheap. My ticket was over $79.00. It was worth admission once but I certainly wouldn't go again at that cost. I know I wouldn't have enjoyed it if I had been paying for a family of 4 or 5. That would have been all I could think about. One has to take into account that I am extremely FRUGAL. Not the word my relatives use!

All of the seats are very good it's a small theater, you'll love the show I've been to 5 of there traveling shows all different , and of course the one at Disney enjoy :cool1:

Anyone know of any way to get discounted tickets? I have AAA and a Disney Visa. Wouldn't be up for Ebay--too paranoid. I saw Cirque in Vegas (although I wasn't footing the bill) and it was wonderful. I think my husband would enjoy it, but he would freak over $70-$80 tickets.
