Hi there. Does anyone have knowledge/experience with the accessible seating at La Nouba? My sister has MS and uses a wheelchair most of the time. She's not keen, obviously, on theatres that automatically place her in the back. Does this show have decent accessible seating? She is able to transfer out of the wheelchair and actually sometimes prefers to do that as long as the theatre can safely store it to the side. Thanks for any info you can provide!

Hi!

The wheelchair and companion seating at La Nouba is EXCELLENT!

The seating is just above the lower section and is in the perfect location as the full stage is used... I really feel that sitting any closer would make it difficult to experience the full effect of the show.

Enjoy!

The wheelchair seating is okay. I prefer being in the balcony section, as the view is better from higher up, but at least with the wheelchair section you're not so close you have to crane your neck up except for when the tightrope walkers come out.

I had balcony seats earlier this year, but didn't get to sit in them 'cause when we came in late (just at the beginning of the main show) the guy led us to the wheelchair seating (he said it'd have more space for my dog, but I wonder if it wasn't because of my Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique hair sticking up, potentially blocking somebody's straight-on view [they could look to the side, of course]). Normally, I'd protest this, but I didn't realize it 'til too late, plus the show was already going on, so it wasn't time to say anything (and it is so loud, it'd be quite hard to!). If we'd been on time (my friend made us late to everything that trip!), I'd have said I want to sit in our seats, which were better 'cause they were higher up and more towards the center of the theatre.

So, they aren't the best seats in the house, but they aren't the worst, either.

BTW, if anybody here has neck problems/a fused neck and/or spine, the ideal seating for you would prob'ly be center of the balcony.
