Cirque Du Soleil or Blue Man Group...Which One?

We've never seen either Cirque Du Soleil or Blue Man group. Thinking of going to one on our upcoming trip. It'll be 2 adults and our 12 yr old daughter.

Ignorning price differences, which one is better in terms of entertainment? Thanks!

I would say Cirque personally, but that's cause something about the blue guys give me the heeby jeebies. I don't know why, I had the same problem with the coneheads

We saw the Blue Man group with our 10 year old daughter in March and she LOVED it! Was one of her favorite things about the trip.

not close...cirque..ever see them do a block of BMG shows on A&E or PBS.

It loses it's charm after a few minutes but it was cool the first year.

never saw BMG, but went to Cirque about 3 weeks ago. After all the hype and reports i read about it, i was looking forward to it, but was really disappointed, wish i had kept the money.

Been to both - CDS in Disney; BMG in Chicago.

IMO (and I'm a drummer), for overall entertainment value, the edge goes to CDS. Cat 2 tickets can been had at great discounts and are great seats.

However, I absolutely loved BMG and would see it again before I pop for CDS.

Life is short - plan on seeing them both; maybe not all in one trip, but certainly before you're too old to truly enjoy.

and you can get cheaper tickets than cds tickets.


i liked bmg and i thought cds was just okay.
it wasn't my thing.

I enjoy cds better than bmg Ive seen bmg twice in 2 different locations it was the same show...seen cds in three different locations and they all had different shows.

everyone is different but I dont plan on seeing either of them again for a long time unless it is a new show which cds has many different shows around the world not sure about bmg but I dont plan on taking a chance watching the same show again for a third time at $40-60 a pop.
