Hi All! Can anyone give me some general info regarding Cirque? We'll be going to WDW next spring and the group has shown an interest in going to La Nouba. A few questions...

How/when do you get tickets? Are there any discounts? AAA? Do I request certain seats and if so, which ones? Do some seats cost more than others? How far out can I get the tickets?

We'll be staying at CSR...how do we get to Cirque from the resort? Resort Bus? taxi?

What times does the show run daily?

Thanks for any help you can give!

I'm also very interested in the answers to these questions.

My grown up children and I are going next april and I was thinking of buying cirque tickets for everyone for Christmas

We ordered our tickets through our agent at Dreams Unlimited, but picked them up the evening before the show at the Box Office in DTD. I believe you can pick them up up to an hour before the show. I don't believe there are any discounts, other than the occasional AP discount during the off season. The show runs twice a day at 6pm and 9 pm. There are 3 categories of tickets, each one costing a different amount. When purchasing you can obviously choose the categories, and can choose certain sections within the category when ordering online. You can get the tickets six months in advance if you purchase them online through Cirque's website (http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/cirquedusoleil/default.htm). You can get to the theater by taking the resort bus to DTD's West Side. Look at http://allearsnet.com/btp/cirq.htm for more info about the show and at http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/NR/ex...F215F305D3}&NRQUERYTERMINATOR=1&cookie_test=1 to see the seating chart. There truly are no bad seats at Cirque, but I'd probably opt for Category 2.

Have fun!!!

Going off memory but I think the show was at 7:30 p.m.. We have been twice and have taken the bus from the resort we were staying at (POFQ) as well as a taxi once. I think it was $8.00 from POFQ to the show.

Have you checked the official Disney site? I'm sure they have updated info on the La Nouba pages. You may be able to find discounted tickets, but all of the time/seat info should be on the WDW site.

I'm really looking forward to this. DD7 and I love the Cirque shows and this will be the first time she sees one in person. :cool1:

General suggestion: GO! It is an absolutely wonderful show! I've seen "O" at the Bellagio in Vegas, and although I loved "O" I like this show better. It is an absolute don't miss.

Full info and tickets are available at http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/cirquedusoleil/default.htm

There are some discount tickets available, as others have noted. There is nothing wrong with the discount seats - all of the seats are great, and there may be some benefit sitting a little further back that the front section.

The shows are 6pm and 9pm Tuesday through Saturday (there are no shows on Sunday and Monday). Check the Cirque web page at Cirquedusoleil.com and you will be able to see the seating chart with the prices and as was stated tickets can be purchased up to six months in advance and you can get them by calling the box office directly (better seating options this way) or through the web page.. Buying them in advance is a good idea as the shows do sell out fairly regularly.

i know they sell them at ticketmania also, they are cat 2 we are going on our next trip

thanks for the links and info everyone!! Are there any discounts besides AP?

Disney Visa often offers discounts for Cirque tickets. Even if it is not advertised in the Rewards magazine, you might ask when you book (if you are paying with a Disney Visa). It is a great show. We've seen it twice and it was just as good the second time.

I've been to a couple Cirque shows that have come into my town and would LOVE to go see this one. Somehow... the stationary shows are more expensive than the traveling ones. Go figure!
I've seen Dralion and Vareki. I own both incredible sound tracks and would LOVE to see this one. If we raise enough money for the trip, my DH and I might just do it (if the theater isn't dark that week we go - it always seems to be!).

When you go to one of the resident shows, you'll understand! The staging is absolutely unbelievable -- it's half the show.

If you want to get a rough idea, go to www.cirquedusoleil.com , click on "Ka," and then read some of the descriptions of the construction of the theater for that show at the MGM Grand in Vegas.

If you liked Varekai, go see La Nouba. You ain't seen nuthin' yet!

I personally loved Drallion, is it comparable to that?
