cirque discounts?

Can't get through to wdw-tour, can't sign in to dvcmember at the moment

Anyone know if there are discounts offered to DVC members or AP holders for Cirque for a date in mid January?

Nothing for January. The only discount is for children's tickets.

Cirque du Soleil® announces limited-time Member offer

From Nov. 11-Dec. 20, Disney Vacation Club Members may call Member Services to purchase half-price children's tickets to upcoming performances of La Nouba™ by Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney® West Side at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

The offer, subject to availability, is valid for performances from Nov. 11-Dec. 20, and is limited to a total ticket purchase of six tickets per Member. The offer isn't valid from Nov. 25-29. Remember to show your Disney Vacation Club Member Card when picking up your tickets at the box office.

The best discount I've ever gotten were at the will-call window using a visa card. Last time I did this we got 50% off Category 2 seats for the next evenings performance. They dont advertise or announce the last minute deals and wont offer these over the phone. But if you ask in person at the will-call window they will tell you whats available for that evening and I believe up to 6 days in advance (someone correct me if I am wrong). Even when the shows are listed as sold out, there are usually seats available at will-call.

It is luck of the draw though and if you need to plan this out ahead of time or have a large party, then this may not work well for you...

I got 25% off on the summer promotion but wow, it was a real pain. I've read this quote on a couple different web sights but, I haven't been able to find it on the DVCmember web sight. What section do I look under?
