Are we sure the NBA thing is still happening at DQ?

Seems a bit of a coincidence that DQ is closing and now Cirque's show is ending with no replacement announced as yet. Plus what happened to the rumours of HoB going as well. Suddenly that whole end of Springs is gonna be closed.

Is there a phase 2 of Springs about to kick off - or will it all just be left boarded up for years like pleasure island?

Yes, it was confirmed.

In the Cirque press release they said they still have a strong relationship with Disney and they are looking forward to announce what is next. Read into that however you would like.

NBA thing opening and Cirque closing have both been confirmed. The last day of La Nouba is December 31, 2017

Definitely going to go see this when we go in April. I'm kind of hoping they repurpose the venue to host Disney's broadway shows - Lion King, etc. I'll never make it to broadway to see these but I'm always going to Disney!!

Even if I would love to see Disney on Broadway shows, I'm wondering, with the opening of Pandora, if Cirque will not simply make an adaptation of Toruk, their Avatar show, for Disney Springs...

I totally agree with this. I would love to see Disney Broadway shows at Disney.....makes sense.
