We have tickets for 6:00 PM La Nouba on Saturday June 16. How early should we arrive ? Just trying to figure out timing for dining before the show.

Thanks so much :goodvibes

 Cirque!!

All the Cirque shows have an "opening" show. There will be a few characters who wander through the seats and do a few skits before the show officially starts. We went to 2 Cirque shows in Vegas last summer and the tickets recommended you arriving 30 min early.

We saw La Nouba back in 2008 and enjoyed it.

Have a great time!

Thanks so much, so you think 30 mins is enough time ?

We are very excited to see the show.

If you get there more than 30 minutes early you will be standing on the ground level behind a chain waiting because they do not open up the stairs to let everyone up and in until 5:30.

Chiming in to say that, yes, 30 minutes ahead of time is perfect, and that the pre-show is definitely worth it!

I hope you love the show as much as we do -- we've seen it twice and wouldn't rule out seeing it again.

Thanks everyone so excited to see the show didn't want to miss a thing :goodvibes

DD wants to eat at TREX so we have a 3:30 PM ADR. Should we move the time earlier ?

Whatever you do, don't walk in at the last minute... otherwise you may find yourself as fodder for the pre-show characters! ;)

We've seen La Nuba three times and loved it every time! Hope your seats are not right up front since the view (in my opinion) is better with a bit of distance to the stage. We usually get popcorn and a drink and then eat after the show, but I think you'll be fine at T-Rex at 3:30. It's just a short walk from there to the venue. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

You should have plenty of time at dinner with a 3:30 ADR, however I would disagree that it is just a short walk from the Cirque venue. Unless you consider walking the entire length of downtown Disney a short walk. T-Rex is on one end of DTD and Cirque theater is all the way at the opposite end.

However if you have never seen DTD before, park on the West End side parking lot where the Cirque theater is so your car is there later (after dark) when the show is over. Then you can walk all the way through DTD to get to T-Rex seeing the sights and after you eat walk back through DTD back to the theater.

It may be a pain in the butt trying to park on the Marketplace side for your ADR then move your car to West side for the Cirque show. The DTD parking lot at that time of day on a weekend is almost impossible to find a parking space.

We went to Cirque on a Saturday but we got to the parking lot about 10:45 am (we went to Disney Quest at 11:30) and we were able to park right up front, but getting there after lunch or early afternoon might be different.

Give yourself 40 minutes to walk all the way down through DTD and 40 minutes to walk back (if you have small kids). It may not look far on a map but when you walk it, it feels like about a mile and a half at least.

But you don't have to walk all the way through the Marketplace side to get to T-Rex. It is not too far past walking through Pleasure Island. If you were going to Rainforest then you would need to go to the very tip of the Marketplace side.

30 minutes should do it, and I agree you want to get there at that time. The pre-show is splendid, and we saw quite a few late-comers who were toyed with by the performers.

Regarding not getting access prior to 5:30. We arrived around 5 and had access to the lobby. Maybe it has to do with crowds. It was a light evening.

Have a great time!

So they sell snacks in the lobby? I may move our ADR to lunch and spend some time shopping it's just DD (17) and I and then eat after. Thanks so much

Thanks so much for the great tips. We usually take a cab to and from DTD since we won't have a car. For us it's so worth the price of cab fare ;)

Thanks so much DD and I can't wait. We are seeing the show on the final night of our 10 night stay. Thought it would be a great way to end our trip :goodvibes
