Reminiscent of "Harambe Nights" back in 2014 which was SPECTACULAR!

Your journey begins with a welcome reception at the Wildlife Express Train Station and takes you on a fun-filled adventure to the train station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, then continues on to Harambe Market. Throughout the night, you’ll take in sights, sounds, and scrumptious flavors in celebration of “The Lion King” and the Big Five game animals: the African elephant, the rhinoceros, the Cape buffalo, the leopard, and our host animal, the lion. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the importance of the Big Five and the challenges they face around the world as well as how Disney is working to protect them.

Has anyone seen any additional information on this like what time it starts and how long it lasts?

Haven't seen any further info yet. I did see that starting tomorrow April 2nd early booking will be available for AP holders and DVC owners. I'm guessing that's when we'll be able to find out more details such as how long the event will be.

Cant wait for more details, sounds like a longish event though, so times will be helpful. Following.

This isnt an April Fools, right?

Kind of a bad day to put stuff out but I am assuming it is not a joke since it came out on the Disney Blog - but you never know anymore.

Here's the full DPB article

Starting at the train station, you’ll receive light hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) while enjoying acoustic music before hopping on the train to ride over to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with more light bites and sips. And hanging out in the train station, familiar friends Timon and Rafiki will be available for character greetings and fun interactive activities for all ages. Once you’ve finished up at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, hop back on the train and get ready to venture over to Harambe Market for the main event. Throughout the marketplace, you’ll enjoy an array of sweet and savory dishes paired with unique beverages.

Waiting for a bit more info as well ! Sounds like a great time, but the pricing --- wow ! For $125 + tax they should let me perform with the tumble monkeys !

Granted Harambe Nights came with a special show, but if the "atmosphere" and food/drink offerings are similar to Harambe Nights, you will likely feel like you got your money's worth.:)

I went into Harambe Nights very skeptical about the price, but Disney delivered BIG TIME-it was probably the best time I have ever had at WDW.:)

We are booked for Star Wars dessert party and MK Dessert Party - Garden

Wanted to do one more and was thinking FEA, but now thinking of this instead ---

Looking at this for September with my two friends for a girls’ trip. would love a little more detail from Disney. We had booked the Taste of Magic a Kingdom VIP Tour but this looks really promising.

This actually sounds like a dining experience we would actually consider.

Bonus for it being at night...I absolutely LOVE Animal Kingdom at night.

Now, we aren't going for another year, so I should probably just put this out of my mind. :rotfl:

Oh my gosh that sounds amazing! We are doing EMM at HS, HEA dessert party at MK, and looking for an event to book for AK. This sounds super fun. But I am wondering what time it would take place. If we would do it with just us 2 adults and leave the kids or do it will all of us. Hmmmmm.......

Very Excited to see this offering. We did "Harambe Nights" in 2014 and Loved It! Nothing could beat that experience, so hope this shares some of that fun and introduces new experiences. Will be watching for further details.

Wasn't it AMAZING!!!!:)

I have a funny story you will appreciate.

I didn't do a good job of "researching" Harambe Nights before I went-I just knew it had a special show based on Lion King in the new Harambe Theater and that it had food.

It was raining when we arrived,so they had moved the food/drinks into Pizzafari.

It was really nice with appetizer-type food, etc.

Then after a while they escorted us to Harambe Theater and the wonderful show in there.

The rain had just about stopped when we got to Harambe Theater for the show.

At this point,I thought the food we had at Pizzafari was IT!lol:)

I remember thinking as we were leaving the Theater after the awesome show that the price may have been a little high for what we got,but it was still a great experience.

IMAGINE MY SHOCK when we excited Harambe Theater and there were the tables of food filling the Theater District, downtown Harambe and extending all the way to the entrance to the Train Station and even on into Tusker House as well as amazing street entertainment!!!:)

It was INCERDIBLE!

I think my favorite thing even with all the awesome food was the ability we had to just walk up to the freezers of Mickey Ice Cream, open them up and get what we wanted, when we wanted it and as MUCH as we wanted!lol:)

If Circle of Flavors is half as good as Harambe Nights,it will be a winner!:)
